In January 2006, Kensington Publishing launched their Aphrodisia imprint of erotic romance with Kate Douglas’s ground-breaking Wolf Tales, a sexy paranormal series that follows a lost race of shapeshifters as they rediscover their heritage and bring new members into their packs. Kate has continued as the imprint’s lead author, with her fifteenth title in the ongoing series (which alternates with novellas in the Sexy Beast anthologies) due to release June 28. The series is currently contracted to run through July 2011 and hopefully beyond, depending on reader interest. She has just completed DemonFire, the first book in her Demon Slayers series of four paranormal romances, which will be published as part of Kensington’s Zebra imprint. The first is slated for mass market release in March 2010.

Kate and her husband of thirty-seven years have two adult children and five grandchildren. They live in the beautiful mountains of Lake County, California, north of the Napa Valley wine country.
